A Storm Knight does not begin as a Storm Knight. He must complete tasks of valor and do mighty exploits to prove his worthiness of Knighthood. It doesn't just happen overnight. (Well, sometimes it does, but it's only because of lots of prior expoits and whatnot.) The Storm Knights do not spurn non-Knights, but rather seek to assist them in their quests for Knighthood.
Storm Knight
A Knight. Defender of the Soil, protector of the Crown, smiter of evil. This is the highest calling of all members of this clan. Only those with 50000 or more credit are permitted to be Knights. A Storm Knight is a role model for all those who aspire to Knighthood, a helper to all those less fortunate, and a mighty force for good in a Kingdom plagued by evil.
Storm Squire
Storm Squires have begun to show their merit, and their mettle. No mere lackeys, they are valuable up-and-coming vanquishers of evil. Those with more than 5000 credit are promoted to Storm Squire. And should a Squire accomplish even greater deeds, and walk clothed in honour, humility, and virtue, he shall achieve the worthiest of positions by our ken: a Storm Knight.
Storm Page
All new applicants begin their new careers as Storm Pages. We care not what your past glorious deeds, nor what your vice weaknesses, so long as during your time here you work to accomplish further glorious deeds, and overcome those weaknesses. If you work hard to assist the Squires and Knights, it shan't be long afore you are yourself a Storm Squire.
Peasant
Knights can even come from the Peasant class. We have discarded useless ideals of noble blood as a prerequisite, recognizing that true nobility comes from within. But even a Knight is nay better than a Peasant if he become lazy. Which is why inactive members are set back to Peasants. This can be undone when the member resumes activity.
The Polygonal Table
The Polygonal Table was established April 6, A.D. 2008 to provide leadership and direction for the Storm Knights. The meetings are held behind closed tents and it is unknown exactly how many sides this table has. Some have reported that it is as tall as a horse, with too many sides to count. Another has reported that the Table is a flat dodecagon of solid marble. Others ridicule these theories as far-fetched, claiming it is merely a four-sided wooden table. But all of these claims miss the point: the Polygonal Table is a group of leaders more than it is the table at which they convene.
Knight of Knights
The Knight with this title is responsible for the well-being of all the Storm Knights. It is a high position of great responsibility. If but one Knight is unsatisfied, the Knight of Knights' honour is at stake. Current Knight of Knights: Zarqon.
Knight of the Watch
This Knight is responsible for keeping eyes peeled and senses vigilant. If anything should gang agley, the Knight of the Watch must instantly handle the problem, or report it to one who can. A Knight knows that problems are best dealt with immediately. Current Knight of the Watch: watchman7.
Knight of Welcome
The Knight responsible for welcoming new members. If you are not a member of this clan, you can expect a pleasant welcome should you join. Your choice of title, some items to help you on your journey... the Knight of Welcome will make your admission into a new clan pleasant. Current Knight of Welcome: Uggh.
Knight of the Lists
The Lists: traditional proving grounds of Knights through the ages. This position has nothing to do with that. Rather, the Knight of the Lists maintains our lists -- the clan roster and the forums. The Knight of the Lists gives promotions/demotions and has final moderator authority in the forums. Current Knight of the Lists: Macatoni.
Knight of the Basement
This Knight oversees all the goings-on in our clan basement, which presently means Hobopolis. The Knight of the Basement is the final word on Hobopolis opening/flooding, run coordination, and loot distribution. Current Knight of the Basement: Kaluna.
Knight of Games
This Knight is responsible for making pleasant diversions to help the Knights relax after a long hard day of vanquishing evil. In the Storm Knights, we take fun seriously, and you can always expect some game or contest to be coming up soon. Current Knight of the Games: position vacant.
